This prestigious award is sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Poulters. The Poulters’ Company is an ancient livery company founded over five hundred years ago. The members’ interests now encompass all professions and trades both in London and elsewhere. Their Charitable Trust is focused on education and research and has close links with Universities and Colleges which have specialist poultry courses and The Poulters’ kindly sponsor prizes for deserving juniors in the Poultry Club. The award is for “The Juvenile that has made the most outstanding contribution to the Fancy.”

The PCGB Board of Trustees nominate and decide upon suitable candidates for this award each year. The Master Poulter - in magnificent full regalia - attends the National Championship Show to present a cheque and silver plate to the winning junior member.
